I had a donut for the first time yesterday and I thought it would taste like chicken. But it didn't.

everything kinda tastes like chicken
because chicken doesnt really taste like anything
maybe it reminded you of deep fried chicken batter?

Donuts don't taste like chicken because they're donuts, not chicken. Donuts are basically fried sweet bread. Chicken is meat. Donuts are dough. Chicken is muscle tissue. Two totally different food. You shouldn't take that familiar phrase "Everything tastes like chicken" literally...lol

Why would you think a donut would taste like chicken? It doesn't look like a chicken or any other kind of bird or animal.

Donuts are made from a flour mix with water.they are cooked in oil for 2-3 minutes using a donut machine. Then icing or ciniamin is added. Chicken is made from Chicken.

Are you kidding?! Donuts don't contain any meat, so they wouldn't taste like chicken! I hope your first donut was a Krispy Kreme! If not, you gotta try one! Make sure you go when the HOT DONUTS light is on! =)

Maybe it's because the donut maker didn't want it to. Go invent some chicken flavored donuts, and see how much you make from the profits.
