I have no way to run a wire to my big screen in basement. I know the tv station reporters, will broadcast back to studio wirelessly.

There is no technical reason why this can'e be done. There are local transmitters for regular TV, and they could be made for HDTV as well. The problem is, I don't know of any product that is available now. I will see what i can find and edit this if I come across something.

Edit: Could not find anything. I'm sure something could be done like this: Tuner at antenna to HDMI, HDMI to wireless LAN, Wireless LAN receiver to HDMI, HDMI to TV (add RF remote control for channel changing). However, there probably isn't enough demand for a manufacturer to market this. An electronic hobbyist could probably hack this together.

I don't think so, even if you do find a way- the reception will not be satisfying!
