My engagement ring is 18K white gold, my band that matches was made in platinum. The gold is yellowing and Rhodium doesn't last. Any suggestions. ???

It can, but rhodium doesn't lose it's luster as quickly as platinum. If you have your ring re-plated every year or so, you'll notice that the platinum one is going to need to be polished a lot more often. Polishing it to keep up with the 18k wg one will eventually wear down the ring a lot.

Platinum is not a metal used in plating. You'd have to remake the ring in platinum. Why in the world were two matching rings done with different metals?
