Could sum1 help me? Wat is Highschool really like? Im on the Cross Country team and have talked to upperclass men about it and they all say its a pretty layed back skewl but...im not to sure on how to act HELP!

High school is one of the coolest experiences you can ever go through. It doesn't only gives you trust on yourself, but it also shows how far you have gone in your life.
For many, high school is the last step in their life, but for many is just another fun period of time in their teenhood.
High school has to be harder than Junior high/Middle school because it has higher level courses that get you ready for college/university. In high school you meet "mature" kids and make new friends with totally new characteristics than in your Junio school.
High school is a climax for your life, many exciting things happen: get to drive [license], parties, go out with friends, boyfriend/girlfriend and much more!
Don't freak out, I know what it is to be in high school...well not me...my children...but with the support of your family and friends you will reach all your goals!

Lol, I myself am going to be a Freshman in about 5 days. This kid tol me that there are three social classes in school:
Freshies- uncool freshmen who try to act cool
Freshmen- Normal freshmen
Cool Freshmen- Cool freshmen due to personality or knowing someone in the upper levels
He said just be yourself and dont act stuck up and you will be in the second or third rank. He also said to never lay off the homework, and to join extra-curriculars to help you get better skills and a better image for college, but not to get into too many so that you don't get overworked.

Depends... when i eneterd it was all about sex sex sex...holy grade 9 and that's what it was all about...too much drama ...psh all I know is i'm saving myself for marriage- girls hating on other girls...fighting over guys- follow fashion ppl-I really miss elementary school :( we were all like a family...then all these new faces popped up- it's like when u go into a new country and it's like culture shock- you'd be lucky if u entered one like my friend...there's still drama just a lil toned down...b/c it would be really boring without it :P- when u first enter don't look weak..don't put ppl down in rder to rise- justhave a back bone a really strong one- just don't lose urself on the journey

Be your self and it will be a graet time dont worry about what others do or think find good friends and dont get caught up in drugs and alcohol my daughters did they are still paying for thier mistakes. If you do make a mistake dont be afrade to admit to it
your parents will always love you

dont act like an idiot freshman. dont stop walking in the halls, youll be pushed. high school is pretty layed back..i agree. and dont on the first day talk about oh yea i party and all that crap. its annoying. dont be immature and youll get by just fine.

Highschool is not as hard as it is sometimes made out to be. It is very laid back, and if you try at least a little then you will do fine
