I would first confront her and ask her why she was looking. I would then tell her that you don't appreciate her going through your things. Tell her you don't let anyone go through your things. Just make sure you are telling her in a nice manner. She hasn't done anything wrong because she didn't think she would upset you. Set the ground straight then if she does it again then I would be upset.

tell her not to look through your personal ****. girlfriend or not even if she is your wife a person will always have personal things that they dont want anyone to look at and nobody has the right to go through that. if she is going through your stuff that is extremely disrespectful and uncalled for. i would be pissed off.

One year insinuates a committed relationship. Just talk about what she found and tell her the truth. Your past is yours and she can't change it so if she cant handle it she can make that decision. You shouldn't really care about it, that's what couples do. That is unless you have something to hide...............

ask her nicely to stay out of your stuff ...tell her you like to have your privacy and you respect hers...what is she looking for anyway..if she cannot trust you then she does not need to be with you...but of course do it all nicely.. i have never looked in my husbands billfold and i was married to that man for 23 years...i might now though but of course i can't now...maybe she has a idea there... no just kidding she should respect your privacy...

Every girl I know looks through her man's stuff. We women are just crazy...oh and obviously she doesn't trust you...but liek I said women are crazy.

nothing, she has a right to know if you have any skeletons in your closet. i went through my ex's stuff after knowing him for a year and found out he had a HUGE legos collection (he was 20)...ya i dumped him after that...
