You must be not only in a new job, but also new married.
Most airlines extend the benefits to you parents, and siblings, if you are single, wife and children if you married, the extended family may get a discount that depends the airlines benefits and length of tenure to qualify.
im sure you was looking at the legs and asss of the stewardess sitting next to you during orientation, otherwise you would have hear the officers outlining all the benefits. in case they didnt, you should ask them the question insted of getting the phone number of the stewardess. Looks like you want to get rid of you in laws pretty quickly. Can you take mine?

The short answer to that is no. Most airlines don't extend the discount beyond immediate family. However, you need to check with your human resources department. I work for a different airline so our policies won't be the same.

Well I personally dont feel that even your parents would get a free ticket.. they are also charged 50% of the fare... please check if thats mentioned on your appointment letter please dont beleive words even if it is of your employer...
