Is he peeing while asleep or in his crate when he should be asleep?? If its while he is asleep, he just doesnt have bladder control yet. The smaller breeds of dogs take longer to housebreak because their bladders are very small. If its while he should be asleep, you should be sure to take him out more often.. Give water an hour before puppy bed time and then take out RIGHT before you put him in his crate. Regardless, just like little kids, puppies have to learn to use the potty/the yard and to hold it during the night while they are asleep and in bed. Buy doggy diapers and/or peepee pads. You can use these while he sleeps in his crate to make morning clean ups easier and to keep him from getting pee on him. But be sure to take him out as late at night as possible and as early in the morning as possible. He will grow up and out of this behavior soon. Enjoy the baby puppy!!! They grow (too) fast!!

He's probably having a hard time holding his bladder all night long, and he may not be able to tell you he has to go to the bathroom while he's in his crate. He's very young and as a small dog, has a small bladder. Try to teach him to bark or something to let you know when he has to go...teach him "speak" first, then when you get up in the night to take him out, command him to "speak" and then praise him and let him outside to go potty when he does. Hopefully a few times doing this will teach him he needs to bark when he has to go to the bathroom.
Whatever you do, don't do the trash bag thing someone suggested above until he's a little bit older...he's small, he can't help it if he can't hold it all through the night.

certain it truly is a nasty Hygiene element for your position because even in spite of the reality that you sparkling it, the urine receives deep down into the less than carpet the position you get see. even as he receives abode traind is as a lot because the both one in each and every of you, searching on how determined you're to coach the canines and how quick they %. up on it. it type of feels like you're determined yet might want to apply some help. you should purchase doggy pads and practice the canines to flow on the pads. If the canines is going everywhere else, take it to the pad or outdoors, even no matter if it truly is finished. supply lots of affection, treats, praise, even as it does the right element. do not get indignant if it does the incorrect element, canines do not respond to this and they're going to learn now to not trust you. once the canines learns to flow on the pad, commence bringing the pad outdoors till you're waiting to take the pad away. Crate your canines once you at the prompt are not round, many canines view this as their area and could not flow there. also, yet another hint is to positioned their nutrition and water interior the spot the position they flow alot and they received;t flow there anymore. solid success!

My dog did this too! but don't worry- it's just a phase. As soon as it's older and full grown it can hold it's bladder better. and you can always try putting a trash bag around their crate pillow. this way they're stuck with their pee and likely to stop.
