Be constantly aware of the GIGO theory.
Garbage in, garbage out.
For your body, always be sure to put in good, nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables, legumes, nutes.. drink lots of juices and lots of good quality water. All these help to maintain a balanced body.
Because your good wholesome being is all linked up, the likewise for our mind.. GIGO...
If we constantly input positive affirmations about us and our lives, we are likely to stay happy and maintain a healthy mind.
Read more positive books and hang around more positive people. Avoid news (the papers are always full of bad news), avoid negative people.
As long as you can do that and ensure that you get a good rest every night, your body and mind should be quite balanced.

Learn to re-think life. First you must realize that stress and anger is all an illusion. Yes, an illusion because you choose not to see things in the stressful way or angry way. you will began to balance your mind and body by not stressing it needlessly. 99.999% of all of life is mental so by seeings things differently we start to understand that life is all an illusion basically. It reminds me of the statement made by John Gotti many years ago when asked about his jail sentence and he replied:" Mind over matter, if you don't mind, it don't matter". It was a very full bodied statement and I have never forgot that and use this quote many times over in my day to ignore many things people do and say to me. Use this paragraph well and you will be well on your way. Also meditation or just quietness for some moment in your day will also be helpful, the body needs stillness to regenerate just as we need sleep.

From what I know and what I have come to understand it to a deep level, is that you must understand how the brain works first. Only then can you understand how each emotion that comes out of you in a given situation is to be questioned. Once you reach this level of understanding and control you will live a life of bliss.
The point you need to get to is when you talk to someone you always make sure to point out the best in them at anytime. When you here criticism of yourself in any situation you will not act on it but understand it to be for what it is; A bunch of words to be understood and stripped of any values you would have reacted to them like before from your past behaviors.
The more you understand life the more complex it gets to explain it. I can not tell more then this because it’s what I understand makes sense to me, and that is the true answer to your question.
