Some extrovert people appear careless because the basic rule is:-

Extroverts act first and think later.
Introverts think first and then act.

By the time extroverts can think about what they've done - they've done it - and sometimes they regret it (but not often!!!).

Math. If you take more risks you will fail more, it is that simple. If an person risks being careless twice a month then they can only fail twice a month. Yet if an person, say an extrovert, risks being careless say twice a day then they can fail at most twice a day.

I think some of them speak their minds so often, and so freely, that sometimes they forget to 'put themselves in someone else's shoes.'

I think introverts spend a lot of time doing that, because they are sometimes so concerned about what people think of them. That is why, to me, introverts can be very sensitive people.

Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone.
