How can I make my wavy hair look more decent while keeping the texture natural?

I have very wavy hair. I've always straightened it, and while that has made it look nice, I'm wreacking havoc on my hair. For the ladies out there who have wavy hair or for people with expertise on wavy hair: how do you keep the waves, but minus the frizz? Do you use mousse? Gels? Hairsprays? If so, which ones?

Try an organic olive oil spray, i use it on my 3 feet long wavy hair and it isnt sticky like gel and hairspray and all those nasty chemicals. The stuff i have is distributed by Namaste Laboratories, it is the best. Provides natural sheen and doesnt dry your hair out, root stimulator. all natural too!!! I use to use all those nasty sticky chemicals with all their purfumes and this stuff doesnt even compare to those! They have many products at their site.

Your miracle is out there! It is called "curls rock" by TIGI. They have shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatment, spray mousse and gel. Depending on how much damage you have caused with flat irons and blow drying, you may be able to get away with just the leave in treatment, shampoo and conditioner. Curls rock is a very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner combo. Then the leave in treatment keeps the humidity from frizzing your hair out.

You could also try a spray shine product. This product will leave your hair shiny and soft with no frizzies. Just apply it to dry hair, run your hands over your hair and the frizzies will run away.

They also have a shine serum. The best on the market is Biosilk Silk Therapy. You apply this to your hair when it's dry. Start off with small amounts, you can always add more. Leaves your hair feeling soft, smelling great and frizz free.

Remember, if you're going to flat iron your hair, you need to use a protective spray or cream before applying excessive heat to your hair. The less damage you cause by styling, the less frizz you will have. A once a week deep conditioning treatment will help also.

I have straight hair, but I had an issue with frizz before. I started leaving my conditioner in a lot longer, and this worked a bit better. What I really recommend is Hask Frizz Remedy. This works great. My best friend has very wavy hair, and I got her hooked on this product. It is similar to Frizz-Ease, but a lot less expensive. I buy it at Walmart for about $5.00. I don't think it will cost you much more than that. I am also going to provide you with a link so you can see what the product looks like when you buy it. Good luck with those frizzies.

I use Aveda sapmoss shampoo and conditioner, but it is very expensive and you can only find it in aveda salons or sometimes on internet. (ebay)
but try this> first use a moisturizing shampoo, then on towel dried hair, rub on Biosilk, you can find it in salons too, not real expensive. its wonderful for frizz. then use a difuser on your hair, on COOL air!! trust me on this one. it will give you shine and no frizz. blow upside down for volume. ( scrunch with your hands while doing so.)do not use a bursh!! use a wide tooth comb, when first combing it out while wet and when product is in your hair. then just your fingers while blowdrying!! pls try this and let me know what you think. as I know it will work for you. I have wavy hair and its very long.

I do my hair 2 procedures. when you consider that mine is shorter than yours (assuming that that became into your hair in the 1st image you confirmed), I purely wash my hair, towel dry it and bypass away it on my own. i do no longer comb or brush it, and the organic waves come out. attempt this nevertheless: braid your damp hair rather tightly in pigtails. Blast it with your hair dryer till you sense that the middle of your braids are dry. once you are able to sense that it relatively is dry, hit the cool air button and run your dryer over the braids for slightly. This helps set the form.
