Psalms 1:1-6
1 Happy is the man that has not walked in the counsel of the wicked ones,
And in the way of sinners has not stood,
And in the seat of ridiculers has not sat.
2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,
And in his law he reads in an undertone day and night.
3 And he will certainly become like a tree planted by streams of water,
That gives its own fruit in its season
And the foliage of which does not wither,
And everything he does will succeed.
4 The wicked are not like that,
But are like the chaff that the wind drives away.
5 That is why the wicked ones will not stand up in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of righteous ones.
6 For Jehovah is taking knowledge of the way of righteous ones,
But the very way of wicked ones will perish.

There are soooooooooooooo many to choose from . I'll go with one of the first bible verses that I "felt" as a new Christian way back in 1972!
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
If you read my profile, you'll see why that verse means so much, especially today!
Let me share this with you, and I promise I'll end. For those Christians on this board who feel they have to defend their beliefs and some even get mad. remember God doesn't want us to fight his battles. We are to leave it to him. Here's a good verse to leave the unbeliever's or troublemakers:
Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Regards,

lordsfollower79,
Philippians 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
