Yes I do believe in God.
1.) Why would I fear admitting the truth as I know it?
2.) If many people seek my answers I would be honored not saddened.
3.)I do not have to prove anything to anyone. My God exists and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
4.) In all honesty this question does not bother me.
Hails to the truth,

If a person is very secure about their religion, then they shouldn't be hesitant to answer. The reason why people may have difficulty answering that question is because of the ways that they do belive.
As some people relate to the Bible more to the whole metaphysical aspect of God, to others it may be the other way around. So to question one's religion (or the basis/ creator of it) is often a hard question, but if you state it frankly as you put it, then they should just answer yes or no (assuming that they are secure about religion).
Yes, as in your number 3.
People feel the need to prove it because, if the question was brought up, then there needs to be evidence of such. There arent many people who like their ideals to be questioned, so there is hesitation and thought needed to answer. But in all honesty, you are very much right. A simple "yes" or "no" can suffice.

this question is not bothersome. Yes, i believe that God exists. You and I are clear evidence of His existence. The existence of the Earth. The order of things. Why does the sun appear in the daytime and the moon at night? The existence of all living creatures, great or small.
Need I say more. This is pure logical deductions. To think otherwise and refuse to accept the facts is foolish.

Yes, I believe in God. Since the beginning, man has worshiped some sort of God. Even primitive tribes believed in the great spirits. It's almost as if a belief in a God is a natural born instinct in humans. There is no other logical answer to what started life here, I believe God even created evolution.

It does not bother me to answer this. I know HE exists, we do not have to see something to know, like air we know it is there or we could not breath, but do we see it? No, not unless it is cold outside. The question may be asked a lot but that does not bother me either. I do not have to prove HE exists, HE has done that himself, how else could anyone explain miracles. My son is living proof. he was born dead, the doctors revived him, then they told me he would be blind, mute, deaf, and/or reatarded. He is not blind, deaf, mute, or retarded. Only the Grace of God could have prevented this from happening to him. the reason the doctors believed this was because he was without oxygen for 20-30 minutes, (The umbilical cord was in a knot so tight that it cut off his air supply.) an emergency c-section was performed.
I prayed for hours for him to be alive and healthy, for the doctors to be wrong.
God answered my prayers.
For all of those who believes HE does not exist, there will be a rude awakening we HE has us all stand before HIM for judgement.

It doesnt bother me, i am happy to answer that I do and I am even happier to give my reasons:
his is gonna be a long one. But Please read it.
I never had "Faith" and never believed in God. When I was in tenth grade, a friend of mine asked me to come to church with me, and I said no. Eventually I went, because I wanted to social experience. After attending church and youth group for a couple of months, I was asked to accept Jesus, and I said no. A few months later, i went on a church retreat to some big confrence. While there, my youth pastor asked me about my faith and why i didnt believe. I told him that I would need to see it to believe it. That was that. i went into the worship service with about five thousand other people, and stood and watched the lunatics go crazy for God. Then my youth pastor past me a little note. It said "Revalations 3:20, read it NOW, praying for you buddy". I set it aside, and went back to doing nothing. A few minutes later, i felt a tap on my shoulder, i t was my youth pastor, and he told me to read the verse now. I did, this is what it said. "Here I Am. I stand at the door and Knock. If any one hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you with me. I then started singing Open the Eyes of my Heart, a worship song. At that moment, i realized i needed God in my life, and asked Jesus into my heart. At that very moment, I blacked out, and all I could see was a bright white light. I started crying uncontrolably, and left the room. I was confused. It was Jesus entering my heart. IT happens to every christian the moment they accept Christ. That is how I know my God is Real and Alive. Ever since then, i have lost my father, my mom tried to kill herself, and my fiancee broke up with me, among other things. God has helped me through it all, and he is still helping me through my day to day life.
God Bless You

Questions about religion don't bother me. People trying to convince everybody else bothers me. I do not believe in a Christian God. Christians do not have a monopoly on the truth.

No it doesn't bother me. what does bother me is people's reaction to it. when presented with the volumes of life on this planet and the different levels of intelligence, one might assume there must be a higher level of intelligence or a creator. but with the religions of today there seems to be rules that make it impossible for some humans and all other species to follow or accept. if one has to pray or confess or just have faith in a god to reach the goal of heaven/nirvana/etc, how does one do that if they are mute or have mental illness or are in a coma, how do they abide by these rules when they have not the power. does this mean god has special rules for these people or are they doomed to the opposite of the desired goal? if a person must confess their sins to enter heaven but cannot speak or write, then that religion says they cannot enter. if some people say they don't need any of that they just know god exists, then other people see that as wrong from their religious perspective. and if people say they don't believe in a god then some people take it upon themselves to educate them in how to save their soul. surely when you place absolutes on people they have a defensive reaction that has nothing to do with faith but with fear. fear that if they don't do what's right, they will receive punishment either from god or from society. while the image or concept of god(s) has changed over time, through numerous religions, the concept of atheism has not. throughout human history there can be found people who have not believed in god at all and live without fear of god. are they wrong? are people who believe in god wrong? are people who believe in a different god to other people wrong? i think we as humans have a profound knowledge of what we want after our lives end and that is everything to us. we might have different opinions but we will all reach that end with certainty. and hopefully, finally, understanding of each other and not god.
my answer to your question " do you believe in god?" is irrelevant.

Good question :)
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John
