when a house is haunted by a mad spirit, christians suggest us to leave it when they can't send it away, but in hinduism, ghosts end up being weaker than god. Is it just me or is hinduism really stronger than christianity?

i m hindu. there is no question of who is stronger and who is not. hinduism believe all religions r equal and respectable. so all religions r equally strong.
as far as ghost is concerned. u go 2 a ghost, take a name of any god (christ,allah,krishna,wahe guru etc.) , he will run away. but d only thing in this particular case is that, in hinduism there is a proper way and shalokas(religious chants) 2 tackle such problems.

Of course not. and it's not that big a deal when a hindu god is stronger than a ghost because to you guys it's all illusion anyway. Relative strenths of things within an illusion is a bit of a worthless proposition anyway considering both parts are an illusion. How can one illusion be stronger than another. And I don't know what Christian would suggest leaving a house because a demon (hypothetically) is in it. Christians were given the authority of God, to cast out demons. How can an illusion be stronger than a reality.

i'm a hindu, u cannot say that hinduism is stronger than christianity. hinduism is a way to live ur life. if ur a christian who lives a gd, life and does not sin, that makes him equal to a hindu guy who follows his religion. however in ur example the hanuman chalisa is what gets rid of ghosts and demons .

Jesus cast out many demons, and the apostles also. Christianity is not stronger than a ghost, but the One we believe in is !
