Girlfriends finger size. I want to get her a ring for her birthday, like an eternity ring, its for her 21st. But blatantly asking for her ring size is a bit of a giveaway.
Any tips on finding out her ring size?

You can always pull the "Look at your tiny little hands," thing. As in: "Honey, your little hands are so delicate - I bet I couldn't even fit one of your rings on my pinkie! For real, let me try it. See! It won't even go past the first knuckle! You teeny wittle cutey-wutey-pie, you!"

Then, all you gotta do is go to the jeweler, show them how far her ring came down on your finger, have them size that part of your finger, and bada-bing - you've got a ring!

Can ask her parents, or slip a string around it at night while she's asleep, or if you have another one of her rings, that would work.

Or if you have a class ring or two, you can try playing with her one day and seeing how it fits. Often, you just have to be close though, jewelers can usually adjust the ring a little.

Try to sneak one of her rings from her jewelry box or you can just buy a size 6. That's a pretty general size for a women if she is of average weight. She can always get the ring resized if need be.

i would see if she had any rings at her house she doens't wear all the time, that you could bring to the store and ask for the same size. but not if you have to be all snoopy about it, you know? her family or friends may know. if not, just ask the store what the best selling size is, buy her that, and in the card, tell her if it doesn't fit, you'll get it sized. she will love it, whether or not it fits right away. good luck!

Try to get one of her rings that she isn't wearing, or you could always just guess and they can adjust the ring to the right size after you give her it.

play around one day and make a ring out of foil for her (mucking around and pretending to be giving her a ring) and put it on her finger with a cheeky smile...if it doesnt fit...adjust it unitl it does...and then say "wait i have an idea..." (then take it off and make her a bigger one for her to keep and then take the first one you made for the sizing...if u get what i mean...she'll just think you're being a cutie!

ask her friends and family her ring size and if they don't know just buy a ring and she can have it adjusted to her size after you give it to her.

Do the handle measure bit and see if your pinky finger matches up to one of yours. Then you can measure your own finger for the size. If there is no comparison on your own hand, just has her mother, she might know.
