What effects does marijuana have on your brain?

From being around people who smoke on a regular basis I notice the one trait they all have is memory loss. They tend to go over the same stories, over and over, or you have to tell them things over and over. It's very annoying.

Probaly a lot. Especially brain damage. I don't really like drugs so I don't know . . .
