im not sure...have you ever heard the song..i can only imagine? The course goes..will I dance for you jesus or in awe of you be still?..will i stand in your presence or unto my knees would i fall?...would i sing hallelujah...would i be able to speak at all?..i guess that is where that would come in to pray..and why is your subject line athiest, athiest, athiest?

I believe in Abrahamic theology, seeing the face of God would cause death from the sheer glory of it, or something. But according to Victor Hugo, to love another person is to see the face of God. So, I don't know.

Who would know God if they saw him? This is a crazy question. Cavemen would think that we were God if they saw us and what we could do with the technology that we have. Know one would know God if they saw him, they would just think they did.

How would I know I was seeing God, and not simply waking up in the middle of the night, still half asleep, with the neighbor's headlights in my eyes?
