I have a 1994 ford ranger 4x4 with v6 and it has 230,000 miles on it as of to date and it doesn't use any oil but I finally had to repair the brakes and will be replacing the clutch fan as it is finally beginning to overheat. They definitely take alot of abuse as I have hauled hay, horses, trailers andhave never had any problems with the suspension. Most repairs can be made by yourself as they a relatively easy to work on.The only real concern is if it has a cooling problem as I've had to take my ranger in to replace the clutch fan as it takes a special tool to replace it and is very expensive considering that you may only ever use it once because different brands and models use a different special tool. Not sure if the 92 ranger clutch fan just bolts to the water pump or if it screws on the shaft.Over heating and burning oil would be my only real concerns but for 800 bucks I would say it's worth it.
