Don't do spaghetti! It is too easy to over cook the noodles, and then it tastes like paste. Go for something easier like potato flakes. If you put a little bit or ranch dressing mix in with them, you don't even have to use gravy. And do some pre-baked meat that you only have to warm up, add a salad, or some vegetable of some sort that you don't have to cook. That way your dinner looks big and good, even though it didn't take much at all to make it. Your hubby will be proud of the big meal he made for you.

I actually got this recipe from my husband, it's REALLY good. Green bean casserole. All you need is 2 cans of green beans,2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and some French's Original French Fried onions. Just mix the beans and soup in a casserole dish with half the onions then add rest of onions on top and bake in oven at 350F for 25 mins. uncovered. Be sure to watch that the onions don't go black but turn a crispy brown. You can also add some regular Ruffles chips crunched up on top as well. No need to add any salt it will be salty enough. Hope that helps and I hope you enjoy your birthday as well as your dinner!! ;)

Chicken Caesar Salad. Cut 1 lb. chicken into nugget-size chunks and fry in olive oil (@ 5 min) adding 3 tablespoons lemon juice,1/2 teaspoon if pepper and 1/2 teaspoon- 1 teaspoon garlic salt 2 minutes into cooking. Make it easy and buy hearts of romaine lettuce bag. I use butter garlic croutons, sunflower seeds (shelled), roma tomatoes cored, sliced cucumbers and bacon bits. The topper is Marie's caesar dressing which you can find refrigerated in the fruits and vegies section. Oh and grated parmasean. A loaf of frozen garlic bread can be heated up in the oven in 10 minutes. How about real lemonade--4 lemons squeezed and a cup of sugar or the same in artificial sweetener. SInce it was a fairly light meal, how about cheese cake????

Get a couple salmon filets. Lay some baby dill (preferably fresh) on top, then cover with lemon slices. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. I usually serve this with pasta; my wife loves it!
