Actually, your run of the mill preacher will lie to make HIMSELF look better; if you've been a real jerk and he says so in front of Aunt Edna and the 6 year old cousins, etc., etc. , he won't be working as a preacher much longer. So you're home free! Be as bad as you want to be, and the preacher will whitewash you to the family just to avoid the complaints that would follow to the funeral home and the community in general. Ain't psychology great? Cheers!

Why have you been a real jerk all your life ? Do you want to change and make your self better ? If you do why wait for the preacher to lie at your death my friend ? Why don't you just start out new and learn of how wonderful it is to know that there is a better life for you coming if only you would listen to God. I say this because I feel in my heart you are angry at your self and really want to be good to your self knowing that you will have a better life.... God Bless

that is cute. Don't have the preacher lie. Have your family and friends say something nice. If you have been that big of a jerk all this time then obviously they have been lying to you. Have they ever told you that you were a jerk and then still bought you a x-mas or b-day gift?

You can't be all bad, and they'll put a positive spin on it. Funerals aren't really for the dead, they are so the living have to come to grips with the loss. If the preacher lies, it won't be for you. And, you could always choose not to be buried by a preacher at all, if you want.

How much are you willing to pay? How sure are you that the preacher will actually lie at your funeral? lol...seriously, why not change your ways while you have the time and when you die, no one has to lie about you :)

Well, asking a preacher to lie is just one more jerky thing to add to your already long history of jerkiness. If I weren't a vegetarian, I'd suggest you serve turkey jerky at your funeral. Look, we all know the truth, so no use to try to cover over it just because you're dead.

The preacher won't need any extra money, since you haven't crossed the church door in so long, he won't have any idea who you are. It's your relatives you need to bribe (and heavily) so that they write a great eulogy and obituary about you, and so that they will actually show up at your service and at least pretend to cry.
