Longer duration is always better than speed

I'd have to say the running is slightly better. At least you are getting your heart rate going.

However, at 5 minutes duration, you are probably burning, at best 40 - 50 calories. The walk will burn about 40 - 50 calories as well, again at best (and dependant upon how much you weigh).

If you are serious about dropping weight / improving fitness, I suggest increasing the length of time you run / jog. Instead of 5 minutes, slowly increase your time to 20 - 30 minutes. That way you are burning more calories and building the your aerobic system.

it easily relies upon on the season. In heat climate stumble on a coastline, pass fishing, trekking, cycling, play outdoor activities. In chilly climate pass sledding, snowboarding, have a snowball combat, relax in a heat section, play board video games. there are various different issues you're able to do.

Runniong is beeter for you but you use more energy so you eat more and you can burn more calories by doing more laps... So in my opinion i think that walkin is better......
