Don't rely on the Internet for wedding etiquette advice. Any asshat can make a webpage with terrible advice on it. Even many bridal magazines now have poor advice in them, because they are subject to their advertisers' whims.

Your friend needs a published etiquette book from a well-respected author, like Miss Manners.

Remember, people remember an ungracious bride for generations. You've got the get the etiquette right.

The Knot

http://www.theknot.com

It has everything on planning, plus a shopping section, a local vendors section. Everything you could possibly think of is on that site.

weddingchannel.com is great. My daughter used this for hers. It even lets you keep track of guests that have been invited and who is coming. Keeps a tally.
