No. Would you love someone less if they're were diabetic? Of course not. Depression can be a chemical imbalance. As long as the person is getting help for it then there's really not an issue here.

Would you love someone less if they had diabetes? Probably NOT. Depression is a mental illness, and can be effectively treated. There does seem to be a hereditary link sometimes, and that is something to consider.
