Yes. What's more, the liberals are busy feeding crap to the media without checking facts. It should be media's responsibility to check and double-check their sources. This doesn't happen. Too much of media today is either on the left or the right. The best media reports stuff as it is, not with their own spin.

Frank Reynolds from ABC used to do the best job of reporting things the way it was. Walter Cronkite too. They didn't allow their personal feelings or political beliefs to seep into their reporting.

compared to the rest of the democratic world , your media is very weak, it is a lap dog with too much respect for just an elected official. Fox is pro right wing there really isn't much critical analysis, it all comes from a predetermined position . Bush's performance in Iraq and the fiasco of Katrina would bring down the government in any other country. It is the weakness of the presidential system that they have to be impeached

I think it depends on what you mean by unfair. The news has gotten progressively biased in the past couple decades. If you do or don't like something there's probably a reporting channel or paper that puts that spin on whatever you learn from them. I personally would like to return to a "just the facts" approach to journalism. I don't really care to know what a reporter or station thinks about what's happening. I just want to know who, what, when, where, and how. I'll leave the why to confessions.

No they haven't.... If He was a Democrat, the Republicans would have already had him on a cross.. (that's not necessarily a bad thing) That's how that party does it. They are strong and loud!
However, we are getting the other show.... (the one where the Democrats act like a bunch of dumb asses) That's the way it has been since I can remember.

The media is gonna do and say what ever it is they have to do to get you to watch!

Yes, I feel the Media has been too restrained in their coverage of the arocities of the War on Terror, not just the numbers of dead, what about the number of maimed? How many shows do you see about athletic events for disabled vets? Amputee surf boarding, horseback riding, etc. Special Olympics...

What about the cost in dollars? Don't you think there should be weekly accounting of the books, like balancing the checkbook?

Yes, they get to pick and choose what we view in the media. I don't general trust the info. That is one reason I love the internet. So many people out there reporting what is going on. Of course, the down side is it also attracts those on the "lunatic fringe".

The media is far too easy on him. Thats because the media are large American corporations, which is what the republican party is in business to serve. If the media was liberal, we'd be seeing the flag draped coffins coming back from Iraq every night on the news.

Without a doubt. On our local talk shows I have listened to parents and relatives of servicemen and servicewomen who are upset that we are not being told of the good being done - hospitals and schools being built, utilities in use, etc.

I do feel that we cannot be shown pictures of these accomplishments for fear their location might be identified and targeted.

In my opinion, a good many of our journalists are either products of the 60s or their progeny. They admit to being liberal and because they are working for the media, have the ability to slant the news.

Yes, they have refused to ask any hard or embarassing questions and they edit his language to take out grammatical errors when they "quote" him.

We need something like Britain's "question time" where the leader of the government is put on the spot by the members of the government - wouldn't that be something!! If the press won't ask the questions maybe other government officials would.

Unfair? I think they have worked overtime trying to do a hit job on the man's character from the beginning. Check out MSNBC's "Hardball" any night of the week.
