Two paintings to the same man. Yeah, I'm bragging a little but It’s nice whenever artists get validation for their efforts. I didn't get rich from the sale and will still have to go to work in the morning.

But still ....................... cool!!!!!!!!!!

The first one, ‘Quagmire’, has always been one of my favorites and was painted during Project Greenlight. I’ve actually already sold it once but traded several other paintings to the collector to get it back.

The second one, ‘Collecting Samples’, I consider silly fluff, just something I slapped on canvas because I wasn’t in the mood to do anything serious.

Here is a link to them if you're interested: (click on the photo to enlarge them)

Thank you all.

And, no, these aren't the first ones I've sold. When I was into surrealist art I sold virtually every on of those paintings.

But these two are the first I've sold in this black on white style.

Was this a first? Congrats. I've sold more than 60 paintings (between $250 and $2400) and each one is like selling for the first time. V-A-L-I-D-A-T-I-O-N !!!! Funny but true: I sold my first when I was 17...then it was another 40 years before I sold a second!

Hey Wats - you now have a Patron! (that's what I call anyone who buys more than one painting of mine!)

Well done and don't stop now! This is part of the validation we sometimes need to help us carry on.

I'm at a show tis weekend - wish me good fortune - maybe yours will rub off on me :-)

Very interesting work, they look like wood block prints.
