What would you do if someone, who seemed nice at the time, lied to you, and gave you a fake phone number? Why did he do it? What was he thinking???? It kinda sucks....

Apparently he wasn't interested in you. That should tell you that he wasn't man enough to give you his real number. If he wasn't interested in you ,he shouldn't have given a number to you at all. Move on and ignore him.
