I have two bumps, one of which is in the middle of my head and is hard but i am able to move it around slightly and i spoke with my doctor who said it is a sebacceous cyst. the other one however, has just recently appeared about two weeks ago and is very painful and like on the lower left-hand corner of my skull. it is very hard and i can't move it around, it feels like it is part of the bone and doesn't feel like the other side at all and i know it isnt the same thing as the sebbaceous cyst so what could it be??

If it is hard and painfull it could be a boil working or some ingrown hairs. try some good hot towel soaks. go back and see the Doc and maybe go to a skin Doctor who specializes in these lumps. get a second opinon. Could your neck gland be swollen? Have you been sick before the lump appeared.? We have glands all over the body that will swell if u have been sick or had an infection. maybe you have a carbuckle something like a boil.they get hard and very sore

I had a bump show up at the base of of head/middle close the where the verterbre. I was told that when its painful and swollen its your sinus. Believe it or not but its true. There is a connection with your sinus there. And also with the nose area. You can massage the area and apply slight pressure. Do occasionally and it will eventually go away.

It could be another cyst- You should call your doctor and make an appointment to check it our, maybe get a cat-scan, MRI crap like that just to make sure its nothing serious.
I hope you feel better though, the pain must suck.

i dunno but maybe you should not mess with it. leave it alone touch touch it at all. Go back to your doctor and tell him it might be getting worse or something you could do that, and i have no clue what it is.
