yes~~so do something about it~~ways to unwind ~spend time with friends get out and have dinner coffee/ movies with whomever you feel "at ease" and happy around (talk out your problems or at the very least forget them for awhile.)
2)meditate~~listen to music/ nothing at all/ nature sounds/ and be at peace~~
3) scents~~light some candles/ incense/ scented oils/ especially orange/ lime anything citrus, citrine scents are proven mood elevators~~even change perfume to a more citrus smell~~
4)imagine peace and white light around you during stressful times/ also prayer and maybe visiting a church once in a while can make you feel safe and happier.
5)volunteering at a shelter for humans or animals~~oftentimes doing good deeds for people or animals that are worse off then you can make you feel stronger in your life and more empowered..
6)find inspiration (books of quotes and chicken soup for the soul) or anything you like to read can take your mind of things for awhile
7)talk out your stressful issues with someone you love~~

Of course it can! Stress lowers the immune system which would explain the cold and the weakness could be caused by some underlying depression, which goes hand in hand with stress. It's a wonderfully vicious cycle that can either spiral out of control, or be managed appropriately with change of lifestyle, exercise, diet and med's if necessary. Identifying the cause of your stress and having a physical to make sure their are no other health issues, and discussing your options with your physician is a good way to make positive changes and get healthy again.

Stress can really take a toll on you... You catch more Because it runs down your immune system ... start taking supplemental vitamins, ask your pharmacist what combination is the best to take for stress and you will start feeling a little better... also try to find something you enjoy for stress relief...yoga, crafts...something to take your mind in a different direction... Stress can hurt your immune system, making you more prone to illness. When I am stressed, exercise is a very helpful stress-relief method for me.

You got that right, girl. I had to quit one job because I was sick all the time, it was a real high pressure job. Stress is bad stuff, for the body mind and condition.

yup... it also stresses your immune system, thus making you more susceptible to sicknesses. my mom was so stressed with her work that she had to quit when her heart started to stress and additionally, she started experiencing symptoms of thyroid. stress can bring you more than a cold.

Stress can and does cause a myriad of ailments.
The human body can equate stress into fat, heart attacks, strokes, suseptability to viruses etc.etc. etc.
You should try to get out of such a stresfull life style before it kills you.
