Is it just me, or is it that sex really is overrated by far?
Cus.. I've seen an awful lot of posts that are worded as if they are coming from kids...
I don't know about you, but I'd sure tear my son/ daughter a new one if I found out they were on here saying this stuff!
Actually, I have a hard time figuring out where these parents are...and if they really care? Speaking of which, why are kids tought sex is something...lower than it really is?
Furthermore, concerning the "overrated sex" theory, who do we have to thank for that? Hollywood? The Entertainment Industry in general?

So true my friend! Hollywood has glamorized sex and people like Brittney Spears and Jessica Simpson are corrupting young girls minds with a horribly wrong image of how they should dress, act, and live their lives. I thought Hollywood stars were supposed to be role models? so much for that! I do believe the sleazy talk show era was what started it all, all the "babies mommas" and illegitimate fathers and DNA testing, cheating was so glamorized it has warped our minds. Thank you Jerry Springer, Maury Povich and Ricki Lake!

Sex overrated? Never.. it's the best feeling in the world. Is it sacred? Not always.. should kids be on here talking about it? Maybe depends how old they are and what situation they are in. Sometimes you have noone to talk to about something that could change your life. I'd never "rip my child a new one" I don't think that will resolve anything. If anything they will be more likely to rebel against you and do the very things that you don't want them to be doing. Instead of punishing through verbal abuse, just show your disappointment in them. It's far more effective. You are the best example for them.

Yeah, I've noticed there are a lot of younger kids on here asking a lot of sex questions...I have 3 sons, and even though they are little yet, when they get older, if I EVER see them posting things like this on here, I will yank them from the computer so fast, their heads gonna spin!! Too many kids are looking up porn sites and stuff. I don't blame anyone but the parents. As a parent myself, I think we have a responsibility to ourselves and our children to know what they are doing on the computer. And it's ridiculous to let them have one in their bedroom without proper supervision.

obviously the parents of these children are not keeping a close eye on thier kids. And the kids seem to think it is something funny to talk about.
Mature Adults do not "overrate" sex as you say.
These are the kids of bad parents, and it cannot be blamed on Hollywood or music, but on irresponsible parenting.

I dont think the media is entirely to blame, I think parents need to monitor thier children know what they are doing and who with. Parents let kids watch rated R movies at the age of 9 then are mad that thier 9 year old talks about rape or other things of a sexual nature. We need to hold parents responsible for our children

have you watched the movies?? listened to the song lyrics, watched the music videos?? sex is glorified in everyway. Girls don't know any better, and that's all guys want.
It's not a question of where the parents are..i think they are telling them to protect themselves: it's a matter of are they raising them in a christan emvironment, where sex comes after marriage?
In most cases, the parents didn't even wait.

you i agree with you and its the media to blame.
the red light industry and soap operas are to be blame for this.
All questions that concern about first kiss or should i have sex seems to coming from 13 year olds.
And also there are many sex predators out there.
be careful!!!!!
