She has mastered everything from ABCs to numbers, she can even count to five in spanish. I'm very proud of her! I'm just worried cause I can't get her to stop wetting the bed. I get her out of bed at night to use the bathroom but in the morning when she awakes instead of getting up using the bathroom she use it on her self. She has been potty trained since she was two but she will sometimes sit around and pee on herself. What should I do?

Obviously its normal yes, however you dont want her to pick up any bad habits so, tell her its wrong and punish her in whatever appropriate manner, explain to her why its wrong otherwise you wont be justifying yourself. She might not speak fluent english but believe me, shes listening and learning as im sure your aware.

Yes it is very normal for kids to wet the bed for many years after they are potty trained during the day. Some kids are just very sound sleepers and don't realize that they need to go when they are a sleep. Try using goodnights or get a plastic mattress cover to protect the mattress. My brother was almost five before he stopped.

I would not make a major issue out of it or it may get worse. Stress MAY make a child wet the bed after being potty trained. I would also take her to the doctor.

Many childrens from 3 to teenage years moist the mattress and function the opt to placed on threat-free practices at evening. Our well being care provider defined to us that because the newborn grows, the bladder each now and then does no longer boost as quick referred to as an immature bladder. it truly is a level the position childrens go by skill of to the position the sensory to wake the newborn isn't there because of the immature bladder for this reason the newborn wets the mattress because the bladder will empty. Plus as children boost the heavier sleepers the grow to be which does no longer help. it isn't something you may practice a baby for at evening. My son is 5 and that i nevertheless placed him in a disposable diaper each evening because of mattress wetting. i grow to be also a mattress wetter and wore disposable diapers at evening for a lengthy time period till i might want to stay dry so the age even as childrens boost out of the mattress wetting level can decision. i'd use diapers at evening till he can boost out of this level of existence.

Yep its quite comman. My son was still wetting his bed at 5. Dont panic he will grow out of it. You can get alarms that go off as soon as the bed clothes damp.
