Some of the oldies are actually the best choices to show off your vocal capability. But you have to be sure your male counterpart can second you very well.
Keep a lookout for:
1) Always (not bon jovi version)
2) Reunited
3) After All
4) Separate Lives

Good Luck!

5. Still in love ( Jacky Cheung from Hong Kong and Regine from Phillipines )

From Musicals:

1. Sun and Moon ( miss Saigon )

3. I still believe ( miss Saigon )

Till there was you from the Music Man is an excellent vehicle for a duet. People will say we're in love from Oklahoma is a good one too. Hello, Young lovers from the King and I is excellent. You'll never walk alone from Carousel is a good choice. The Rain in Spain from My Fair Lady is a good song for a male and female.

Go with Broadway! Musical Theatre songs are always best for auditions, and pick an upbeat one. Slow songs give nervous voices more time to quaver.

some excellent male/female:

From Cole Porter (my absolute favorite songwriter ever:)
Friendship
You're the Top
Delovely

others:
It Couldn't Please Me More (Cabaret, this one's harder, but pretty funny if you can pull it off!)
Perfectly Marvelous (Cabaret)
The Phantom of the Opera (totally classic, high range for the woman)
All I ask of You (Phantom)

Two Women:
In His Eyes (Jekyll & Hyde, slower, but still very pretty -- alto/sop)
A Boy Like That duet w/ Anita & Maria (West Side story, I love doing this one! high alto/ sop)

There are also a lot of good duets from Wicked, both male and female. "What is this Feeling" is very fun and funny for two women, "As Long as You're Mine" is very romantic, man and woman, but it's not as good a song, so harder to pull off. You need to act more for that one!

I hope this was at all helpful, basically look for some Cole Porter or Cy Coleman, and musicals are always good

I used to use Disney songs for this! Also, if you go to a library or music store, you can find all kinds of duets in all kinds of music genres, depending on your need, desire, and mood.

I liked to use the Disney songs because I could always plug in the movie to help me memorize my part, even if I couldn't practice any other way.
