MRI...magnetic resonance imaging. It is like an x-ray but without any radiation. It uses a magnet to stir up the molecules in the body part being imaged and then makes an image based on how "excited" the molecules become. The density of the tissues being imaged determines the color they appear as on the MRI.

It's an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machine. It's kind of like a CT Scan, but CT Scans use radiation to obtain images. MRI uses a large magnet and a series of receivers to obtain images. It can view vessels, tissues, as well as bone.

Are you talking about a MRI - Magnetite Resolution Imaging, Its round and very tight space to be in. I have been in a MIR 2 times now and hated it.
