there are several im (instant message) programs, aol, yahoo, msn......you go to the main site page. i.e. www. whatever program.com and look for messenger, download it and it gives you instant access to talk to someone as if in a conversation. You can im with virtually anyone who has the same messenger service. if interested look below and look for a messenger link

Go to yahoo homepage and download yahoo messenger. If you don't have a yahoo account already, set one up. You need a yahoo ID. You can Im with any yahoo user and I believe MSN as well on some versions
