Just cuz you have a wacko pseudo religious person(s) in your life that's hard to be around doesn't mean everyone religious person is like that.

If you were in my life and you whined like this, I'd listen politely and then say, "well that's too bad, sorry to hear it". The second go around Id tell you to either leave the situation cuz your too emotionally immature to handle this or politely tell them to eff off.

The way I see it is you joined this site on August 17 and I am answering your question on August 18. In that time you have asked 3 religion bashing questions and answered 1 question bashing religion. You have asked nor answered no other questions. So who is doing the bashing, it looks like you. People who live in glass houses should not throw rocks. It's the pot calling the kettle black. I would take a lucky guess that no one who has given answers on this subject has ever been harrassed for their beliefs, I have.
I have had so called "christians" physically throw rocks at me for practicing my beliefs.I've had death threats, my property has been vandalized, all by so called "good christians". I have had to take a few people to court and get restraning orders, and place charges on others. I'm sick of people trying to tell me what to believe and that if I don't agree with them, somehow I'm a second class citizen.
Don't believe me? Live in Va for a few months.....

All I want to do is worship as I see fit, which is my legal RIGHT, and be left alone. Yet for some people that's just not going to happen. As far as other religions go, do what you want. I don't care what you believe. I'm not out here trying to convert you or anyone else for that matter. I'm no threat to you or anyone else.
To get to the bottom of the question, unless you have been on the other side of the fence, with others trying to take away your basic rights to worship, you're never going to understand.
