The illegals are not to blame for this whole problem we have about illegal immigration. The fault lies with the businesses that hire and exploit them, and the US government that turns a blind eye to this problem. If I was a person living in Mexico, i would do the same thing, come over here to make a better life. But I would only do it because I know that I can, and there is oppurtunity. So what i conclude is, screw the businesses that hire and exploit illegals, and screw our government that does not enforce laws. I propose our government starts enforcing immigration laws and prosecuting businesses that hire illegals. Then the businesses wont hire illegals out of fear of jail time and fines. then if there is no oppurtunity, no illegals will come here, and if all goes well, hopefully Mexico will have a revolution to make there country great as it has potential to be a great country. Much love to you Pancha! hit me up!

D, the illegals themselves. It ultimately is their actions to make. If a hot girl dressing slutty gets raped is it her fault? No.... It is the rapists. I can understand what drives them to come here, but they are after all choosing to do it. People need to stop trying to place blame on something else, and start taking responsibility for their actions.
Blondie- That is EXACTLY the attitude I am talking about! Place the blame anywhere other than where it belongs! I understand that employers are doing something illegal too, but if the illegal were not here, they could not offer jobs to them, now could they? You forget the illegals are doing something wrong just by being here! God, people like you make me sick....

no one of your choices is solely to blame. illegal immigration is a very complex issue that can't be broken down that easily. the reason illegals want to come here in the first place is because they can't get as good jobs in Mexico as they can here, yet that's not Mexico's fault because Mexico isn't intentionally neglecting it's people, it's just, unfortunately, a poorer country. The people who are pro illegals shouldn't be blamed, because it's arguable that we cut them more slack once they're here because they've already got lives here and, though they're not Americans, they're people too. One problem that wasn't mentioned in your question is that our border security is really weak, and that contributes to illegal immigration a lot. That's not anyone's fault either becuse it's just really difficult to control the border, since it's so big. The only group that's doing anything wrong is the employers, because it's illegal to give illegal immigrants jobs, but there are so many other criteria that come into play here.

Everyone of them has a stake in illegal immigration so its all of the above. You could add complicity on the part of the US government and ambivalence for many years on most of America. There is plenty of blame. I will be shocked if you and George Bush are not blamed by someone on this post.

None..
A) Americans have to secure themselves and do all sorts of Jobs -- in the fields, cleaning hotels and all. which now you dont.
B) Not really, employers are eligible to import people legally through visa programs USA has. This is not done just like that. There is damn need in this country for both dumb jobs and Intelligent jobs -- for which Only Americans cannot handle all of it. So the Visa programs, so the immigration. Obviously like anything else -- there are some things that are not abiding the rules too.
C) There is nothing called pro-illegals. It is just that they are family.
USA is so dumb that it gives green cards and citizen ship to singles and not to their spouses. Come on where rule makers brains go?

All of them.....
BTW, we have been trying to bring a friend and her son here from Belize for a long time. Things are going slowly for her because of the illegals...how unfair for her!!! It isn't right she and her son are pushed further back in the line because she is doing it the right way....my husband is a lawyer and it is still a huge mess!
So I'd like to deport those here who did it wrong...don't care why....and bring the ones who believe in obeying our laws.

I would pick neither A,B or C. We as a nation have allowed it to happen. W opened the doors years ago and then decided enough. No more. We are a rich country so to speak and offer possibilities that other countries cannot.

oooooh. . . hard one. . . I have to say . . . a combo of B and A. Mexico is making them come and the employers are helping them stay (even more than the pro illegals).
