i have diabetes 2 caused by "Agent Orange." When getting out of the Navy in 1969, I was kept in the hospital for two weeks past my separation date due to high blood sugar. I was then separated. Joined the Air Force almost two years later and was checked for diabetes when I was transferred to the Air Guard.
Anyhow, I am presently a 15 year resident in a veterans' home with diabetes and mental problems considered to be from "Agent Orange." I receive 20% service connected disability and SSD.
I am fighting for a higher rating. It took me six years and the invilvement of a senator to get my disability.
I am also a Vietnam vet.

The only health problem that is a result of agent orange is spina bifida. Any other claims of problems due to teratogens like agen orange is all smoke and mirrors so they can cover up something and blame the military. Maybe its time we take responsibility for our own actions.

My dad has it and I am usally the one who gets it out the best way I can. He has personal problems and has to go to the hospital for them. He has sugar, high blood pressure, and has colon cancer. He told me that the cancer isn't all that bad, but I told him that all cancer is bad.
