In a true, committed relationship, secrets are not good, whatever it is. If you already know he loves you, and that he won't leave you, then you need to just sit him down and tell him what it is. Pick a time when you know he won't be distracted, when you know you will have enough time to talk, and just say, "There is something I have wanted to talk to you about for a long time and I need to do it now. I need you to listen, and let me say what I need to say, and then we can talk it out". Have faith in your relationship and your love and it will work out. Good luck!

Letting us know what the little secret is might have helped.

Anyways, pick a right moment and just tell him. Sometimes what we think is serious may not be so for the other person. People really appreciate it when you tell them something that they know must've been hard for you to say.

Good luck.
