Why do Americans want illegals deported?

I know! For the following reasons:
1) They are here illegally, which is a crime
2) They clearly don't mind committing crimes which is why 26% of our prison population is made up of illegals, even though they only make up less than 5 % of our overall population.
3) Responsible for 25 citizens deaths on average DAILY
4) Estimated 250,000 sex offenders in this country illegally averaging 4 victims each.
5) Won't learn English.
6) Don't pay proportionate property taxes, yet use our school systems and require ESL classes due to number 5 on my list.
7) They are a drain on social services (taking welfare, foodstamps, WIC without paying sufficient taxes beforehand).
8) They refuse to assimilate to our customs and yet demand the civil rights which are only given by the US Constitution to protect it's legal citizens.
9) Make legal immigrants look bad because the pros always try to lump them together (I feel bad for you legal ones, and let me tell you that if you fill out your paperwork, I welcome you.)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

10) They are bankrupting our hospitals because they don't pay for all the charges they rack up when they have anchor babies. This also leads to overcrowding of certain areas.

1. Illegal Immigration is that.. ILLEGAL!

I live in a border state, and the sheriff is making an effort here to catch illegal immigrants in their tracks. When they are caught, they run a background check on them. Fun fact, the majority of illegals that come over here are Felons, Murderers and Sexual Predators. Would you want people like that living near your family? I don't.

2. Illegal Immigrants are a drain on the economy.

The majority of illegal immigrants that come over here do not bother to learn english. They go straight to wellfare, and recieve all of the benefits that a citizen or someone who actually took the time to come here legally. It makes it hard for the honest people living here who actually need help to get help. My mother went in to try and get financial assistance, and all it took was her walking in the door, when the person working the front desk told her to her face not to even bother because she was the wrong race. Not to mention the money that illegals earn doesn't even become placed back into the economy to boost the economy. It's sent back to the Mother land to help their economy. They do not pay taxes at all, and they expect everything to be handed to them for FREE.

They refuse to assimilate to our culture. Its nice that they want to keep their own culture, but at the same time, you don't sneak into a foreign country, expect everyone to change for you and then demand the same civil rights that a citizen has. Then when they don't get what they want, they have the nerve to dishonor the American Flag and storm the streets because they feel that they are legal.

If they want to recieve the same things that a citizen gets, go back to where ever it is you came from, actually take the time to go through the proper channels and fill out the proper paper work, LEARN ENGLISH! and come here the right way. I'm tired of not being able to find a job in my town because it is so overcrowded with illegals that refuse to learn english so everyone has to know Spanish to work. Why should I cater to them when they were the ones who snuck in in the first place?

drag the waters, what made you think bunt is here legally? the pretty blue eyes? she didn't say she came here legally. she said she has a ss#. lots of illegals have those, or tax id#s (looks, tastes, smells like a ss# for anyone who encounters it). and so she came on a plane (with a tourist visa? we don't know). is she legal because she didn't come over the border sewn into a car seat?

i don't know if she is or isn't illegal (though she answered the question about illegals, making me think that's what she is). point is, you're making assumptions about who the illegals are that may not be accurate. most illegal immigrants pay taxes legitimately. they don't if their employer hires them under the table, but that's the employer's problem.

and kris b., there's a few contradictions and inaccuracies in your statements. first, which is it, do you want them to learn english, or do you want to deny them education and esl classes? how do they learn english if not through school and classes? second, see above statement about them having tax id's and paying taxes. suggesting that they don't pay their share of taxes is also implying that we should deny services to other low income people here. after all, they don't pay their fair share. finally, your crime statistics should be better analyzed. you should be analyzing for poverty and class, because that is the real crime indicator. obviously most illegal immigrants are poor, which puts them in a high crime category. so, where's your complaints about the other races and groups that fall into this category and are also disproportionately represented in prisons?

Meaning NOT legal) SHOULD be deported because they burden our country. If I walk into your home and steal your TV, is that OK? Where do I start?

1. They are criminals. I don't care what they say, they are. When you do something knowingly that is against our laws, it is criminal.
2. They don't pay taxes. They say because they pay SALES TAX, they pay taxes. No, they don't pay taxes out of their paychecks. I know, I used to work in payroll.
3. They get food stamps and every other government handout that Americans can't get when it's the Americans who have always paid into the system and the illegals have never payed into it. That is not fair and you can't make that fair.
4. They disrespect America, Americans and our flag. They behave like the cowardly criminals that they are. This is one of my biggest problems with them. They don't think about all of the BRAVE U.S. veterans who have died on this land, they just don't care. I think they generally have a very low character. I want them out.
