if America did invade Mexico, alot of Americans would fight against America for making such a bad call, i know i would because Mexico used to own most of America. Sorry to say this, but America would lose the war or face a very large amount of casualties because, not only would it start World War Three, but because alot of countries already are against America and there already fighting a war in the middle east. So i don't think America stands a big chance unless other countries help them, which i doubt because alot of countries wouldn't like America after suddenly breaking allies with Mexico. Therefor America would lose.
P.S. America HAS lost a war, The Vietnam War. Oh and Fox isn't president anymore, if you watch the news you would know Mexico has held elections.PEACE.

First of all, the chances that the U.S. would invade Mexico are slim and none. Secondly, the world's best fighting force against a bunch of peasants and drug dealers is a no-brainer. Mexicans would be slinking back across the border with their collective tails between their legs. They won't even fight to save their country now! They would rather run over the border and suck off of the big ol' American teat. What makes you think that they would fight to save it if it were invaded? And thirdly, as portions of the American southwest were occupied by Mexico for approximately 30 years out of the 230 years the United States has been a country, I would say that their claim to ownership is not only slippery, but completely and laughably ludicrous as well.

As a late addition to my response, I looked up the Mexican response to Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall in New Orleans on August 29, 2005. Here it is: "The members of congress of the Federal District pledged a day of salary each on September 7, to be sent to those affected by Katrina. Based on my own research Mexico owned only the southwest half of the US, until we drove them out, too bad. And how do Americans fight against America? What do they do, go over and fight with Mexico and blow up the place they live? Next, I don't think anyone would care about us fighting with Mexico. First off, if we went to war with Mexico we would probably put the Mexicans who were loyal to Mexico in camps. Like we did in WW2 with the Japanese. Second, Mexico "used to" own the land, but they lost the war. If we beat them once, I'm sure we can do it again. If Mexicans loyal to Mexico fought against the American soldiers I will shoot them myself, because if you are here you should be loyal to America. Finally, all the left-wingers in Mexico make it seem like there is no President. They are like Gore demanding recount after recount. And if we did go to war with Mexico, we would pull every soldier out from any country around the world. We would then set them along the border and put the national guard in every town in America that has Mexicans, so there would be no way Mexico would win.

First of all if you read your history books correctly the land belonged to the indians not mexico. Second we would totally destroy mexico in a day. And if you would fight america for mexico maybe you should move over there so you can eat cabrito and tortillas de maiz and oh yeah, you cant because theres no freakin jobs or money cause' the drug cartels have a big government influence there! You have a very good point, the Mexican military is excellent, the second best in the Americas, after the US. It is extremely well trained, well equipped with low cost but very effective defensive weaponry and very motivated and patriotic!

Aside from that, the Mexican Armed Forces enjoys one of the highest public approval ratings from its citizens of any military in the world! (over 85% of Mexicans rate the Armed Forces as the most repected national institution in the country.) And unlike the United States, the Mexicans haven't lost a war in 160 years!

For those ignorant and racist gringos that mock the Mexican military, please explain how it was that less than 24 hours after Katrina a convoy of HUNDREDS of late model Mexican Army trucks rolled into New Orleans with thousands of TONS of relief supplies a full DAY BRFORE the US military and National Guard arrived?
