The term is estrus. It will begin at about 7-18 months, depending on the breed, and she will cycle every 6 (roughly) months until she is spayed..the first two cycles may vary in length between..
she will have a blood-tinged discharge for about a week, produce eggs the second week and be able to breed during that week, and still attract males for about another week..So, the whole ordeal lasts about 3 weeks..

It is called a heat cycle. Lasts about 3 weeks. The bleeding actually lasts a few days of the first week. She is most fertile from days 10-14. You have a female spayed, not neutered and she can be spayed at any time, after about 4 months. Some vets do it as early as 2 months.

When they r going thur their menstrual cycle it is called a 'heat' or "being in season" and it is usually for 2-3 weeks they can become into heat twice a year depending on the dog. Also she can get spayed anytime if u have it done during her heat than there is an extra charge but if ur not a breeder get her spayed asap.

The proper term is "heat" or "season". A season lasts for 21-23 days and comes anywhere from once every 4 months to once a year depending on the *****. I recommend that you allow your ***** to have one season before being spayed but only if you can be assured that she has no possibility of being bred during that time. Most people will disagree with me on that but I have become convinced that it is better for a ***** to experience one season because it helps in bone (especially hip) development and helps mature the dogs temperament from being a puppy. You have to be prepared though for her to try and escape and all the neighborhood dogs to be wanting to get in.

It's called "estrus", or "oestrus" for the Brit spelling.
It's also commonly called 'heat'.
Nowadays, some vets will still spay (spaying is for female animals, neutering for males) while the dog is in heat, but it is a simpler operation if the dog is out of heat. The estrus can last a couple of weeks or more.
If your dog will let you, you can get these 'diaper' type things to put on female dogs in heat so they don't bleed on things in your house.

Most people say their dogs are in heat during the time of month when they want to breed and they see some blood. They usually come in season about every six months and it can last for about three weeks. They usually breed between the 10th and 14th day of their heat. Hope this helps.

Females go into "season" and it's called spayed, neuter is for males.
Yes she can be spayed after she goes out of season. Each vet is different when it comes to spaying a fertile female, check with your vet as to when he feels it will be the best time to spay her.
Usually it's a 21 days in season, 7 days going in, 7 days in season and 7 going out.

The proper term is in HEAT...you can have them spayed while in heat for an extra charge. It is best to have it done as soon as possible so that she will not get pregnant.
