There are some fruits that in limited quantities will not hurt your dog, other than to possibly give them diarrhea. But do not give grapes or raisins, as these are toxic. Before you give any kind of food to your dog, unless you are sure that is it ok, check on the ASPCA Animal Poison Control website. They can probably give you lists of toxic foods.

My dogs love fruit...apples, banana, strawberries...they are fine. They cannot have the seeds from apples.
There are no bad side effects that I know of. Just feed the fruit in moderation, otherwise the dog may end up with the poops.

A little bit of popcorn isn't going to hurt your dog. Unless he is allergic to corn. Carrots, small pieces of apple (no seeds they are toxic), even lean meat like baked or boiled chicken breast are ok. Some dogs don't do well with people food though so if your dog starts itching or licking his feet or if he gets diarrhea or vomiting better to stay away. There are some people foods that are very toxic to dogs, broccoli, onions, grapes, raisins and chocolate. Let hollywood feed chocolate to his dogs if he wants to but I wouldn't take the chance with my dog and I certainly wouldn't tell someone else to feed it to there dog. Just remember everything in moderation and stay away from anything with lots of preservatives in it. Stay away from fatty foods as well.

Privates list is right. No raisins or grapes!! The most common and dog palatable fruits seem to be apples and bananas.

yep... moderation is the key... too much of anything is bad for dogs (and for people, too)
my dog that had food allergies, the vet told me that he could have cooked vegetables for snacks
he loved fresh tomato, orange sections (I always took the white membrane off), apples (no skin or seeds), melon (no seeds)
try little pieces to start... hey, that's gotta be like CANDY to a dog... and it's healthy for them, too!
Plus, the fruit isn't gonna make them fat like some of the doggie snacks out there

My dogs love bananas, apples, peaches, raspberries, blueberries. I don't try to give them oranges because they're so acidic and of course, grapes are poisonous to dogs. All in moderation though so they don't get the runs.

Hi,
Dogs can have apples, carrots lots of food. Ask your vet for a list.
With the apples, dont give them the core or seeds.
The seeds have ARSENIC in them. Wanna kill your dog. Give em lots of apple seeds......
