Its not "fear of commitment, jealousy, or anything like that." Sorry.
Its just simple old "bad self-esteem," i.e., s/he is gonna find out how "boring / sad / pathetic / useless / etc., I really am and won't want me anymore, then everyone else will know, yadda, yadda, yadda. So they simply destroy their relationships out of fear. When the fact is, they are just as interesting, kind, caring, thoughful and intelligent as anyone else in this world, they just "don't see it." And that's really sad, that they can't give themselves the credit they deserve, because they aren't just hurting the "other person," but they are hurting themselves too.

some people just don`t want to be loved and they run away from that feeling so they destroy the relationships are try to make you do it so they don`t look bad.

i'm not sure which relationships you mean but often peoply try to destroy them because they're jealous or because they have other resons. it just depends on the situationor the people.

To try and see if they have a chance, or just cause they don't like to see that specific couple together.. or perhaps they know something the other doesn't know.

Because they are jealous because you have a man and they don't. Dont let them bother you and on occasion gloat to those certain people.

becuase they are affraid of comitment, or dont want to break up, so destroyt it and have the other partner end it for them.
they dad left them when they were young, they need therapy

you should tell her/him to back off because (if they are trying to get with your boy/girl)...tell them they will not have a chance.
