My bf and I broke up a while ago but I don't feel heartbroken or anything and I don't know why. Do u think I really loved him or did I lie to myself. And when your bf says lets take a break and I don't want a gf right now does that mean its really over or semi over?

I'm thinking that you're a youngster (under 21, I'm sure). If not, feel free to correct me.

At your age your feelings change quickly. What seems like love is really just infatuation -- basically lust with sugar on top. When the infatuation wears off, you don't feel "in love" any more. This is normal for teens and people in their early 20's. If you're still doing this when you're 30, something is very wrong.

Usually if you truly truly liked someone and you broke up you would feel really hurt and miss the other person tons. Sounds like you werent really in love you were just telling yourself that you were.
