It means to be aware of the thought moments at that moment and realizing that life is a series of thought moments which arise from the one before it. That all things we experienced are nothing but dependently arisen from a cause (thought) which has no being of its own. That this is realizing there is no real person existing but really just a long series of thought continum.
Therefore, "live in the moment" is the actual experience of life. Reacting to this moment is to create a Cause and so an Effect of this cause will be experienced when the conditions come together in the future. Also in this sense we are said to be master of our destiny and the creator of our own life.
This is but a short and simple explanation.

To Live in the moment means to enjoy what you are doing right now.Enjoy the time you have and treasure it.

If you died five min from now, is there something you want to do? Is there someone you need to tell you love them? Whatever it is do it now and live in the moment
