I've never heard of these authors, but if you do choose to buy this book, don't read it alone. There are many great books out there like "Dare to Discipline" and "The Strong-Willed Child," both by Dr. James Dobson, and then another really awesome one is by Dr. Paul Meiers of the Minirth-Meiers Clinic in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Meiers is one of the foremost authorities in the field of child psychology.
This book is fantabulous and really tells you the most common parenting mistakes that people make, what results those mistakes bring about; i.e., alcoholism, drug addiction, sociopath, etc., and how to avoid making those mistakes in the first place. His book is called, "Christian Child Rearing and Personality Development." I have leant this particular book to dozens of people who aren't Christian, and they all told me the same thing: It changed the way I parent." It did me too.

No, it's not. Get the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting". It's a great book, and it can teach you a lot about parenting. It's like your very own pregnancy bible. Believe me, I know.
