That and Patriot missles

2006-08-17 15:23:35 · answer #1 · answered by imdumm2 2 · 1 0

No. All the Jews who adhere to the Law will have a place in the Kingdom of Heaven when God returns to build it on earth. God keeps his promises.

And hell is a pagan myth. It is not an idea that was ever taught by Jesus, the prophets, or the apostles.

Maybe I should clarify a little elemental theology.
1. Converting to Judaism doesn't do anything for you. See: Romans.
2. Being a Jew who forsakes God and the laws is a very bad thing. When I said he keeps his promises, I was referencing the Mosaic covenant: God will take care of you if you follow his laws. Not being able to fulfil the law 100% is inevitable. Willfully disregarding the law is unacceptable.

So if all Jews are promised a place in heaven, then what is the point of following all the jewish customs and creeds, and being a good jew? If you don't keep the sabbath holy, or you go on a killing spree etc... and your jewish... are you theoreticly free of any consequence? Because using koresh419's (the first poster) logic, being a jew makes heaven an automatic thing. Where is the logic in that?

Heck, I might become jewish now just so i can wack it to internet pron and not have any worries about eternal damnation! Sweet!

I sincerely hope not. As a Christian, I see the Jewish people as brothers and sisters of the same God. They don't believe in Jesus but they're the closest thing we have to spiritual partners. Working together, we could really improve this world through acts of kindness and support.

I haven't learned a whole lot about the Muslim or Islamic faith, but it is an Abrahamic faith too.

God is a merciful God. All throughout the Bible this is evident.

No, there's no scripture I know of that says that a whole group of people is doomed to Hellfire.

Of course not ! Why on EARTH would you ever think such a thing. They serve the same God we do. God created Hell for Satan and his angels. It is not God's will that any of us should go there. Let's pray that Gods' will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Jesus was a Jew. Jesus practiced his faith until his death. The Jews are God's chosen people and we have so much to learn from them.

No, they have the same opportunity to ask Jesus, the messiah, to come into there heart and be saved as anyone. God bless the Jews.

The God I know wouldn't be so judgemental, but carefully and systematically review their life as well as yours.
Don't you think that would be a better approach.
