as in someone i mean the commanding leader person say to you when you become a five general

Well - it hasn't happened in over 60 years and even I wasn't around then. Eisenhower, I believe, was the last one. I could be wrong, so look it up. If anyone else is ever made a 5-star I'd just stare at them. It's SO rare. I believe "Congratulations, General" would be appropriate.

FYI:

The Five Star General is classified as "The President of the United States.. He is in fact the Five Star General...Commander in Chief...This Applies in War Time Only..God Bless the U.S.

I don't think anyone has become a 5-star general in the U.S. Army for more than half a century, so it's hard to say what they would say.

apprently the only two five star generals of the armies have been george washington, and john pershing..so who the hell knows

there are no 5 star generals,last one was Douglass Mcauther ww2

i don't think there is one. there aren't speeches for promotions, if its not with your unit its prbably wit hfamily at that level, and pentagon civies
