Good luck. Just try to look like the other kids and walk confidently.

Practically everyone worries or they're scared about their first days at a new school. You don't know where everything is located, what your classes will be like, and if you'll meet any new friends or see your old ones, etc. I was always nervous on the first few days of school, even when I went to a university. It's much more scary to go to a university with around 30,000 other people than it is to go to a middle school with a few hundred or so. At least you have a better chance of seeing some familiar faces if you're living in the same city. Anyway, just think that everyone else in your class is going through the same thing, so you're not alone. Also, once you have been there for a few days, you'll be more familiar with your surroundings, how things work, and you'll probably meet some new friends. Good luck.

It's perfectly understandable to feel scared and anxious about this time in your life. So much is changing for you emotionally, physically, and so forth. But remember, even though it doesn't seem like it, everyone else is going thru the exact thing as you, just from their own perspective.
Find a good friend that you can totally trust and confide in. Together you can help each other over the rough hurdles to come.
P.S. I'm a middle school teacher, so I see kids going thru this all the time. Don't be afraid to reach out to others.

I know that a new school year (and especially a new building) can be very scary, but just remember that all of your teachers are there to help you. Don't be afraid to ask them any question you might have while adjusting to your new surroundings. Good luck!

It'll be ok. Everyone else starting Middle school is scared to, even if they don't show it. And you know, dozens and dozens of people have actually survived their middle school experience.

I just finished middle school. Think of it this way. There are always going to be bad experiences in school, but just be strong about it. Try not to care, ok? There will always be mean people, but they have low confidence and want to make themselves feel better by making fun of you.

Join a sports team or an after school activity. It's a great way to make friends and you won't feel so isolated
