When you meet someone you cannot imagine not being with...and you look into your future and you are comfortable picturing them there...then they are a good potential long term partner...

My best advice is to create a long lasting friendship first. People I know that say they married their best friend, have the happiest, longest-lasting marriages.
Bottom line: start with your best friend. Why? Because you know what they like/dislike, you already have a lot in common (otherwise you probably wouldn't be their friend). They know you and you know them and their issues and can help each other through life's many challenges, etc.
Think of a good friendship as a "mini-marriage".
I married my best friend...first marriage, 7 years and still going...it's not always smooth and fun, but that's when you need a good friend. :-)

Women aren't something you can just choose from off of a grocery shelf...You have to go on several dates before you meet the right one. Then and only then will you be able to determine whether you have met your life partner.

There is no such thing as a "life partner". In todays world, one in two marriages end up in divorce so don't go there. If you have a common interest with a woman, date her only.

be observative. just take girls as friend, throw out the concept of dating or making girlfriend on the first sight. be natural and be yourself. if someone really likes you , your personality she would come to you. you dont have to date several girls , this would make you guilty in the long run. and dont you think its injustice, illogical to date with so many girls, taste them as daily products!! just hang in there and observe and wait for the righ one. you would be successful.
