You just need to look up all the side effects of Wellbutrin. If you experience any side effect you can't live with, go back to your doctor. Some side effects are mild inconveniences and go away after a few weeks. Talk to a close friend or relative about being on medication. He or she may be able to tell if there is any erratic behavior from you. It takes a while for some anti-depressants to work. Give it a while, increase your exercise and see what happens. If the Wellbutrin does not work, there are many other safe medications available.
Good luck.

Think twice before you take it!
I was prescribed Wellbutrin a year ago for mild depression. It seemed to help a little, but after a few months I decided to wean myself from it because it didn't make a dramatic difference. And during the quitting process, I suffered a very disturbing withdrawal symptom - emotional and physical violence. It lasted a few months.
From my personal experience and subsequent reading, all antidepressants can be dangerous. While some people may not have serious side effects while taking them and may befenit from them, many people experience very negative withdrawal symptoms when they start quitting. That's why it's best to avoid antidepressants unless there is absolutely no other choice (you or someone else's life is in danger, or other types of therapy haven't worked well enough).
I strongly suggest that you wait and think hard about this. Don't start the dangerous addiction process if this drug is not absolutely necessary.

Google Wellbutrin and Caffeine. I think my cousin had a seizure while on Wellbutrin. Seems like I remember my other cousin finding some correlation between Wellbutrin and caffeine consumption.
She was totally out of it and fell out of her chair, and her eyes rolled back, and her tongue flopped out...when she came to, she didn't remember anyone for a little while. It was seriously creepy and enough to put me right off antidepressants.

My husband had to go on an ambulance call for someone who was on Wellbutrin. He told me he never wanted me to be on that.
He said the person was total opposite of what is normal of him. He was hallucinating, and violent. It scared the crap out of him because he knew the guy. He had been on the med for about 3 days.

Here's what my doctor told me when he prescribed it: You will be able to tell within a few days if it's going to work for you. You'll either feel way more perky and positive, or be super irritable. I had the latter response, so I stopped taking it right away. I'm bitchy enough on my own! :)

If it was prescribed as an anti-depressant it should lift your spirits. If it was prescribed for a smoking cessation, it may make you feel kinda weird. I used it to try to quit smoking, and I didn't like the effects at all
