but, no seriously..... if you're sure that you want to have a relationship at this young age then i'll help you. since you're ten, having a boyfriend won't be as complicated as it is when you are older when you have to actually go on dates and stuff. First of all, make sure that your parents let you have a boyfriend. Then try talking to him. A boy that age won't really care much about anything but sports and video games. Find some of his intrests and see how much you have in common. Never try to make his interests your own. Don't change just to make him like you. Become his friend, but never introduce him as a friend, or else he'll think that you'll never be more than friends. You want to leave a window open for when you guys become "more than". Boys at that age would like a girl friend that is less girl, but more friend. so don't come off as too needy, or else he'll just take advantage of you. Then just do what your heart tells you to do. Just don't move too fast.
Remember to not let your relationships get in the way of school, or your family and friends.

Believe me, it will come in time, and when it does, you'll regret not having a childhood. Good grief...I didn't even start noticing boys until I was 14...10 and 11 yr old kids need to be kids...there is no "getting" one another at that age (or shouldn't be)...you've got plenty of years ahead for dating and relationships....enjoy not having to deal with that while you can!
